Our farm was founded in 2017 to be a learning farm and retreat for the students, families, and faculty of Bay Area Waldorf Schools.

“Core to our educational mission, our goal is to provide Waldorf Schools and Anthroposophical communities with a nature space for respite, recharge, connection, and learning on a beautiful and productive Biodynamic farm.”
Many children, especially urban dwellers, lack an easy way to live life within the cycles and environments of nature. They also often lack opportunities to develop the manual skills and nature-based knowledge that was given to prior generations.

In addition to seasonal projects, each grade has specific farm projects. With developmentally appropriate farm curriculum, an individual student can look forward to new vistas each year and can also look back on their years of visiting the farm with a sense of accomplishment and belonging.
